What is ecotourism?

Ecotourism is responsible travel which designed to conserve the environment or minimize the negative impacts of traditional tourism on the natural environment, and improve the welfare of local people. 

The connotation of ecotourism is more emphasis on the natural landscape protection and sustainable development of tourism. Furthermore, ecotourism also focuses on local cultures, wilderness adventures, volunteering, personal growth and learning new ways to live on our fragile planet. Except for evaluating environmental land cultural factors, the purpose of ecotourism by local communities are to educate the traveler, to provide funds for ecological protection, to creating economic opportunities and political empowerment.  

Benefits of Ecotourism:


Ecotourism is a form of tourism, including travel to destinations where fragile, pristine, and relatively undisturbed natural areas. The flora, fauna, and cultural heritage are the primary attractions.
